Deal Verification Levels
Last updated June 15, 2025
Every deal on DealCred has a verification level. The higher the level, the more you can trust it. Here's what each level means and why it matters.
Unverified
One person's word
What it means: Only one side has posted about this deal. The other party hasn't confirmed it yet.
Should you trust it? Be careful. This is just one person's story.
Verified
Both sides agree
What it means: Both the lender and borrower confirmed this deal happened. They agree on the basic facts.
How it works:
- •One person posts the review
- •The other person gets an email
- •They confirm: "Yes, this deal happened"
Should you trust it? Much better than unverified. At least you know both people agree the deal existed.
Certified
Independently proven
What it means: Real documents prove this deal happened exactly as described. A third party checked everything.
What gets checked:
- •Loan documents (promissory note, mortgage)
- •Bank records showing money moved
- •Property records if real estate
- •Identity of all parties
- •Actual terms match what's posted

Why Certification Matters
For Lenders: Know exactly who you're lending to. See their real track record, not just claims.
For Borrowers: Prove you're trustworthy. Show lenders you pay on time and honor your deals.
For Everyone: Stop the guessing. Make decisions based on facts, not stories.
How to Get Certified
- Complete your deal and post your review
- Upload documents when prompted
- Pay the certification fee (covers verification costs)
- Wait 2-3 days for review
- Get your certified badge once approved
Documents are reviewed by professionals who check every detail. They're deleted after verification for your privacy.
